Why Milan
The home of espresso
No city has shaped how the world drinks coffee more than Milan. Italian espresso culture is the foundation everything else is built on, the bar, the ritual, the cup. To train here is to learn coffee at its source.
But Milan is not stuck in the past. As Italy’s design and fashion capital, the city pairs its deep espresso tradition with a modern eye, increasingly embracing specialty coffee and latte art. You’ll build skills steeped in heritage and ready for the present.
The school
A professional bar, not a classroom
Our Milan school sits near Sondrio metro on Melchiorre Gioia street, just over a kilometre from the main station and ten minutes from the heart of the city. You’ll train on professional-grade espresso machines and commercial grinders in a real working bar environment.
