Why Berlin
Europe’s third-wave capital
Berlin’s coffee culture is experimental, roaster-driven, and fiercely independent. The city helped lead Europe’s third-wave movement, and today every neighbourhood from Mitte to Kreuzberg to Neukölln has its own roasteries, micro-cafés, and coffee obsessives.
Training here means learning inside one of the most progressive specialty scenes anywhere. The standards are high, the creativity is everywhere, and the skills you build will carry weight in any café in the world.
The school
A professional bar, not a classroom
Our Berlin school sits in Mitte, the oldest and most central part of the city, surrounded by the bars, roasteries, and landmarks that give Berlin its energy. You’ll train on professional-grade espresso machines and commercial grinders in a space built to feel like a real working bar.
EBS Berlin, Strelitzer Straße 60, 10115 Berlin, Germany
What you’ll learn
The same course, in every city
Five days covering espresso extraction, milk technique, latte art, sensory training, seven brewing methods, and café business fundamentals. Aligned with SCA standards, taught entirely hands-on.
