Why Barcelona
Specialty coffee, Mediterranean style
Barcelona does coffee the way it does everything else, with style and an eye for the good life. The city has built a thriving specialty scene over the past decade, with independent roasters and third-wave cafés spreading from the Gothic Quarter to Gràcia and beyond.
Training here means learning in a city where coffee is part of daily life, enjoyed slowly, often outdoors, always with character. You’ll build skills surrounded by one of the Mediterranean’s most dynamic coffee cultures.
The school
A professional bar, not a classroom
Our Barcelona school is right in the heart of the city, a two-minute walk from Plaça Catalunya. You’ll train on professional-grade espresso machines and commercial grinders in a real working bar environment, with everything you need to spend your days hands-on behind the machine.
EBS Barcelona, Pasaje Patriarca 6-1, 08002 Barcelona, Spain
What you’ll learn
The same course, in every city
Five days covering espresso extraction, milk technique, latte art, sensory training, seven brewing methods, and café business fundamentals. Aligned with SCA standards, taught entirely hands-on.
