Why Madrid
Spain’s fastest-rising coffee city
Madrid has classic café culture in its bones, but in recent years the city has become one of Spain’s most exciting specialty coffee hubs. New roasters and independent cafés are opening across neighbourhoods like Malasaña and La Latina, drawing a new generation into specialty coffee.
Training here means catching a scene on the way up. You’ll learn in a city where traditional Spanish coffee culture and the modern specialty movement sit side by side, building skills with room to grow.
The school
A professional bar, not a classroom
Our Madrid school is a rebuilt, open-plan space styled like an industrial loft, less than five minutes’ walk from Puerta de Toledo metro. You’ll train on professional-grade espresso machines and commercial grinders in a real working bar environment.
EBS Madrid, Cuesta de las Descargas 6, 28005 Madrid, Spain
What you’ll learn
The same course, in every city
Five days covering espresso extraction, milk technique, latte art, sensory training, seven brewing methods, and café business fundamentals. Aligned with SCA standards, taught entirely hands-on.
